RESEARCH INTERESTS AND CURRENT RESEARCH WORKS
Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations, Geometric Evolution Equations, Geometric Analysis
Geometric Measure Theory and, in particular, the theory of currents, is one of the most basic tools in problems in Geometric Analysis, providing a parametric-free description of geometric objects which is very efficient in the study of convergence, analysis of concentration and cancellation effects, changes of topology, existence of solutions to Plateau's problem, etc.
In recent years, I was interested in some geometric evolution equations including mean curvature flow and Ricci flow. Also we are concerned with the relationship between the singular set of the solutions to some parabolic equations and the generalized mean curvature flow in the language of geometric measure theory. Especially, the generalized variolds are applied to this kind of problems.
