Abstract
Brief Introduction to Speaker	Abstract: The Euler-Lagrange equation associated to the functional in a variational problem is in general easy to get but very difficult to solve. This talk illustrates a direct method of solving variational problems for the optimal solution by using simple integral inequalities.
