Inviscid limit for magneto-hydrodynamics equations in Sobolev space

Abstract:We are interested in the Prandtl boundary layer expansions in the study of structure of viscous fluids under high Reynolds number. We will focus on the inviscid limit of solution to initial boundary value problem for magneto-hydrodynamics (MHD) equations in Sobolev spaces, where the velocity is always imposed the no-slip boundary condition. The effects of both normal and tangential components of magnetic field, magnetic diffusion on the inviscid limit process of solution to MHD equations will be discussed.
